Bachelor's Degree
In addition to the basic knowledge of mathematical analysis, physics, technology, materials and design, the graduate will gain a deeper knowledge of solid and flexible body mechanics, mechatronics and the basics of modelling of mechanical and mechatronic systems. The graduate will be able to perform static, kinematic, dynamic and strength analysis of simple machines and structures whose dynamic model corresponds to a linear mechanical system and to solve simple problems in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics associated with the operation of machines and structures. The graduate is able to solve problems of mechanics and mechatronics related to the structural design and operation of simple machines and structures.
Engineering studies
The graduate acquires advanced knowledge of strength problems, vibration, machine dynamics, applications of finite element method, materials, experimental methods, mechatronics, modelling, vibrodiagnostics, noise, etc. The graduate is able to perform static, kinematic, dynamic, strength and life cycle analysis of machines and structures comprehensively from the point of view of mechanics, electronics and computer science. The graduate is able to design, construct and engineer nodes, machines, machinery and systems that are characterized by high functional and handling accuracy and a certain degree of intelligence. The graduate is able to solve mechanical and mechatronics problems related to the structural design, development, operation and diagnosis of machines, structures and processes.
