Annexes in ELECTRONIC FORM
- Signed CV (scan), do not send in a paper form.
- Confirmation of admission fee payment (only in case of payment other than a payment gateway in e-application).
- Entered grades and related electronic documents as follows:
A/ Applicants who are taking the school leaving exams (“maturita”) in 2024
- Insert a signed CV (scan) in the section Documents.
B/ Applicants who took the school leaving exams (“maturita”) before 2024
- Insert a signed CV (scan) in the section Documents.
In the Secondary school grades section fill in grades (+ average) from the final year certificate of studies at secondary school, by type of school (4-year studies, 5-year studies or 8-year studies)
C/ Foreign applicants and applicants from the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic who did part of their studies abroad
- Notarized copy of the decision on the recognition of the validation of the school leaving certificate obtained abroad (scan).
- Notarized copy of the school leaving certificate with a translation into Slovak language (scan).
- Certificate from the last year of study at secondary school with a translation into Slovak language (scan).
Note: Validation of grades granted by a foreign secondary school into the Slovak classification scale - CHANGE!!! From 1/1/2022 - The applicant no longer sends a request for the transfer of grades to the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. Validation will be ensured by the relevant part of the STU to which the applicant applied (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering).
Mandatory annexes in PAPER FORM
Must be sent immediately after submitting the e-application, or immediately after completion of the school leaving exams.
A/ Applicants are taking the school leaving exams (“maturita”) in 2024
- Notarized copy of the school leaving certificate (without supplement).
- Notarized copy of the certificate of the last year of study at secondary school (4th year, or 5th year, or 8th year).
B/ Applicants who took the school leaving exams (“maturita”) before 2024
(to be sent immediately after submitting the e-application)
- Notarized copy of the school leaving certificate (without supplement).
- Notarized copy of the certificate of the last year of study at secondary school (4th year, or 5th year, or 8th year).
C/ Foreign applicants and applicants from the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic who did part of their studies abroad
- Notarized copy of the decision on the recognition of the validation of the school leaving certificate obtained abroad.
- Notarized copy of the school leaving certificate with a translation into the Slovak language.
- Certificate from the last year of study at secondary school with a translation into the Slovak language.
Important information for applicants from abroad for bachelor study programmes in the Slovak or English language - compulsory submission of a certificate of Slovak or English language competence at least at level B1 according to CEFR.

The documents can be certified by a notary, by a registrar at a municipal office, or by your own secondary school.
